Shrimp Poached in Water Recipe

Ingredients

4 teaspoons crab seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 teaspoons white sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/3 cup white wine

3 tablespoons tomato paste

Directions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the crab seasoning, paprika, onion, pepper, sugar, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice and wine. Pour mixture into a small dish.

Cover and let marinate shrimp in the refrigerator for several days.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate. Grill shrimp until they are opaque, about 15 minutes. Remove them from the marinade. Discard marinade and brush with the crab seasoning mixture, reserving 2 to 3 tablespoons.

Place shrimp on the grill and cook over medium high heat for about 5 minutes, or until lightly browned on each side.
