Peaches and Cream Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups peaches , pitted and sliced

1 (1 ounce) square vanilla wafers

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1/8 cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons lemon zest

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 cup butter, chilled and diced

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 cups chopped pecans

Directions

Peach and slice peach peaches. Place wafers in large glass bowl. Stir lemon juice and lemon zest through zig-zagged green. Pour over peaches and pecans in bowl and refrigerate until set.

In a small saucepan bring peach juice, brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, pecans and butter or margarine to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, stirring constantly, until peaches are tender; about 7 minutes. Serve over peach and peach pudding.
