2 cups round or round steak
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 cup chopped onion
1 (14.5 ounce) can French-fried onions
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Rinse steak and let drain. Form into a 3 inch ball. Reserve 1 piece.
Melt butter in a large skillet over low heat. Add flour, garlic powder and chili powder. Mix well. Stir in rosemary, onion, bay leaf, Worcestershire, salt and cinnamon. When all ingredients are evenly coated, roll into a roughly 4 inch cylinder. Place in preheated cast iron skillet. Fry an additional 10 minutes, until brown; drain.
