1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons cardamom
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons lemon zest
2 teaspoons honey
Combine salt, lemon juice, cardamom and lemon zest in a small bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined. Add lemon zest and honey and mix well. Stir in lemon juice and salt mixture on top of cake. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan. Cover pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
