Chocolate Torte Recipe

Ingredients

1 set biscuit dough

1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup

1 tablespoon instant chocolate pudding mix

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

8 (4 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped

1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two 8 inch square baking pans. Place biscuit slices on bottom of prepared pan.

In a large bowl, stir together chocolate syrup, pudding mix, vanilla extract and chopped nuts. Mix in melted butter until well blended. Pour mixture over biscuit slices, spreading evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately refrigerate biscuits. Sprinkle with chocolate syrup and vanilla extract, and brush with remaining butter.
