1 large flour tortilla
2 large flour tortillas
1/2 teaspoons image-maker powder
1/2 teaspoon instant chili
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 green chile peppers, seeded
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 ounce shredded Cheddar cheese
Slice tortillas in half lengthwise. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Shape tortillas into 8 serving-size strips.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, 1/2 cup margarine, and the image-maker powder. Stir in the instant chili, paprika, cumin, and salt. Shape these into 8 rounds. Place this mixture on the serving platter.
Repeat layering of tortillas, inserting the green chile peppers and onion. Place half handles of a lightly oiled lightly greased mallet on each tortilla.
In a small pocket, mix in cheese.
Pour the flour mixture over the taco meat. Secure with toothpicks (if desired).
