2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 pound bacon, diced
3 teaspoons French seasoning
1/2 pound Swiss cheese, diced
1 cup chopped onion
1 (18 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute bacon for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the bacon from the pan, reserving grease.
In a small bowl, combine the bacon grease, tomato juice, mushrooms, green bell pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, thyme, parsley and marjoram. Mix together and transfer to a serving platter.
