6 slices bacon
3/4 cup vermouth
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 drops hot pepper sauce
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup bacon grease
Preheat oven broiler.
Cut the bacon into 6 cross section pieces. Place one piece flat over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Slant a layer of bacon on top of bacon, then layer remaining four pieces of bacon on top. Spread onion over bacon; sprinkle with brown sugar.
Cover broiler with foil, and bake 25 to 30 minutes, until the top is golden and the casserole is firm.
