Easy Chunky French Toast Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 eggs

1 cup chopped onion

1 teaspoon paprika

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons dried chives

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup milk, butter, flour, salt, pepper, eggs, onion, paprika, mushrooms, pepper, brown sugar, salt, chives, sage, marjoram, cheese and pepper. Transfer mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.

I kept trying to find the recipe but couldn't find it on line. Anyways, do they need to be refrigerated before they can be considered appetizers? They were very crisp and had a great texture. I will make this time and time again.
