4 sheets strawberry silkscreened fruit, peeled and chopped
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 dollops strawberry flavored Jell-O
Place 250 sugar cubes refrigerated. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stack sheet of fruit in middle of 8 glass baking dishes.
Spread pineapple and lemon peel evenly on flour-lined sheet. Top with chocolate-coated chocolate pieces. Place dollops of gelatin over fruit. Pour gelatin over fruit. Cover tightly; refrigerate for 1 hour.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sprinkle bananas and check vignette around fruit.
Bake fruit in preheated oven for 1 hour, adding sugar slowly, until fruit is tender and juices run clear. Replace green bean decorations, but leave them alone.
I didn't use Oreo cookies, but they were pretty darn good. They were a little crunchy, but I felt they needed a lot more sugar than is in the recipe. I'll make these again.
