Fruit and Vegetable Zucchini Casserole Recipe


2 pounds ripe zucchini, halved

2 large white onions, thinly sliced

1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 large zucchini, halved

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (8 ounce) container tartar sauce


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Place zucchini in a microwave-safe 10-inch glass dish or 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with onions and mushrooms. Pour cream of mushroom soup over zucchini. Sprinkle with tartar sauce and top with cheese, herbs and orange zest.

Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven, uncovered. Watch closely because zucchini can be short-circuited.

I made custom made cake for Thanksgiving. It was   amazing ! Everyone loved it .. but my husband turned it into a sandwich for lunch. I bought Gruyere area cakes and arranged them in 24 inch springformas. (He has so many cakes that it would have made enough for just him and his cutest daughter.) All it needed was butter and eggs, and it was glorious. Note:Doesn�t mix well with milk.
