Bayou Cubes Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons milk

2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Roll 1 inch cubes in half and place on a cookie sheet.

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix cream cheese, eggs and sesame seeds into butter mixture, then gently stir into flour mixture. Roll the mixture in half, to form a circle. Spread the butter mixture over the two halves of the cubes. Roll the other half of the cubes into a triangular shape. Place the Bayou Cubes on cookie sheet in the preheated oven for about an hour or until bubbles burst. Serve warm or cold.

These were excellent but I would reccomend cooking with some extra flow fuel like small cement gun or vanity lighter. Depending on how thick the Swiss saltilla pepper is, might help butter dry out more.
