1 (6 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O
1 (4 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups powdered sweetened cream of rice
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
In a medium bowl, mix pudding mix and orange flavored gelatin. Stir in pineapple, sweetened cream of rice, chopped onion, and chopped pecans. Chill in the refrigerator 2 hours or overnight.
When ready to assemble the cake, shape into a 9x13 inch pan. Top with the frozen whipped topping, cool, and frost with whipped topping.
