Cheese Dip II Recipe

Ingredients

2 slices white bread

1 cup beef broth

2 slices bacon, diced

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 onion, diced

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

2 1/4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons Italian-style seasoning

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried parsley

Directions

Spread bread on a medium bowl. Place slices of bread on bottom of a 9x13 inch dish. Spread the beef broth over the bread. Place the bacon in the pan, and brown lightly. Spread mayonnaise over the meat, and sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce and Italian-style seasoning.

Place onions, green pepper, and Worcestershire sauce over the top of the bread.

Lightly coat whole tomatoes with marinade. Top with the cheese and cheese mixture.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband raved about them. Although very simple to make. My only thing is that I would take some time to thicken the sauce before using it.

I really like this recipe. I used a rum formula and a slurry of 4 lumps of sugar. Quick and easy but with a lot of flavor. I followed the recipe exactly and waited til the last minute to put in the bananas, I really know it!!! Haven't had any sour cream in years but this was good! And darn good price for what you get.
