3 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon butter flavored extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons chopped pecans
1 3/4 cups milk
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease medium or large baking dishes.
In a heavy saucepan, mix brown sugar, vanilla and eggs together. Place in boiling water 1/2 teaspoon at a time, stirring constantly. Bring to a substantial boil. Boil 5 to 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in butter-flavored extract, pecans and milk. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Dust butter flavor caramel over brown sugar layer in baking pan. Pour cream over pecans and refrigerate to allows caramel to make it pop out. Dust chocolate with confectioners' sugar to top.
After pie has cooled, cut into pie-shaped slices. Frost with remaining marshmallows and confectioners' sugar.
