1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/8 cup chopped celery
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon white sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Season beef cubes with onion, celery and celery.
In a medium saucepan, mix tomato paste, tomato soup, water, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and parsley. Mix tightly and bring to a boil; reduce heat. Bring to a simmer and stir in salt before stirring.
Bake beef cubes in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Remove meat cubes from oven and stir into tomato sauce mixture. Pour tomato sauce mixture over meat cubes and sprinkle with parsley salt.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Cool and serve meat over a bed of lettuce.
