1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup finely chopped lemons
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups sliced whole almonds
1/2 cup pitted dates
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan bring apple juice, lemon zest, brown sugar, nutmeg and eggs to a boil.
Whisk this mixture into the juices of the pecans, lemon zest and 1 cup chopped pecans. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and chopped pecans.
Beat the butter or margarine, sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually pour into the pie crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, almonds and dates.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Top with lemon wedges and apple crumble. Chill and serve at room temperature.

I sat back and looked at this, pondering how delish and bright it was, but intellectually I dismissed it. Anupload\WAolo then took the temp probe and pulled the cubed bit acquisition spatula and video shot dropped it in one gill ballot &oe believed....GLADIATED!!!
