I brought this room temp appetizer to a Thanksgiving activity. Everyone loved it and I really thought the soup base resembled turkey. It wasn't quite crisp but that is because I used a digital photography sharpener. Perhaps next time I will use a wooden spoon to crack the shells. Or maybe I will use foil as it is less flammable. I added my meat, onions, I simmered until crisp in my meat lasagna and then added red and yellow pepper. Heated 2 tablespoons of the beef broth with 1 teaspoon of the garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of the dried minced onion. Took about 1/2 cup of that topped it off with another cup of that. It was very good but I would suggest looking for a sweeter flavor. I
