1 (12 ounce) package silk yarn with stripes
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute the fernet oil, stirring constantly, until thick, about 5 minutes.
Stir in sugar and melted butter. Cook brown sugar, stirring constantly, until pale in color and beginning to rise, about 5 minutes. Let cool slightly, then carefully pour into two glasses. Adjust frosting and use more or less butter if necessary.
