1 (15 ounce) can pistachio nuts
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mixed berries
2 cups white sugar
2 cups water
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup raisins
Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch pan.
In a large bowl, combine nuts, mixed berries, sugar, water and oil. Mix thoroughly until well blended, spread over a 9x13 inch pan. Spread mixture on top of fruit layer in pan. Top with berries and coconut. Brush bottom of pie with remaining oil. Pour filling over fruit layer, covering completely. Cut out candies and use them as garnish. Place on top of fruit layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, uncover and let cool completely. Pour cool syrup around sides of pie for garnish. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 12 squares.
