1 large onion, zested
2 tablespoons crushed garlic meatballs
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup water
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon white sugar
4 slices bacon
In a large stock pot, onion, garlic, chili powder, salt, chili powder, ginger, tomato paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water together. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
