3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 bananas - sliced into rounds
1 (20 ounce) can sliced blackberries, drained
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sift together the flour, 1 cup butter and brown sugar; set aside. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, one at a time, until blended. Stir in the sugar, eggs, bananas and blackberries. Fold in the flour mixture. Pour the batter into prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
To make the frosting: In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. Add the lemon juice, sugar, vanilla and lemon zest, mixing well. Chill and drizzle over the cake when cool.
