1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
3 tablespoons chopped onion
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
5 large carrots
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large ginger root, peeled and cut into 1-inch wedges
1 green bell pepper, peeled and sliced
1 cup chopped celery
1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
Preheat the broiler.
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, yellow mustard, garlic powder, basil, onion, ginger, honey, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, carrots, onion and garlic cloves. Season with hot pepper juice.
Spread the beef mixture evenly into a large sheet pan or greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the tomato sauce and gently set aside.
Cook the celery in a small saucepan over low heat until tender but not brown. Remove from heat, leaving liquid in pan
Remove layer of celery onto a large plate. Add carrots and onions to the celery layer; garnish with green pepper, celery and bell pepper.
Return the celery layer to the pan and brush with tomato sauce. Remove heat from heat and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Top with the tomato sauce, tomato sauce and brown sugar. Drizzle with egg wash.
Broil uncovered for about 45 minutes in the preheated oven or until apples and potatoes are tender. Remove carrot and celery from dish and brush with tomato sauce. Add the raisins and apples.
