1 (16 ounce) package uncooked spaghetti
1 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast meat - shredded and sliced
3/4 cup Italian-style salad dressing
1/4 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook 2 minutes; drain.
Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente, 30 to 40 minutes. If desired, transfer warm pasta water to a large stockpot and add chicken and salt and pepper. Heat for 1 minute; stir.
Simmer covered until well done; serve immediately.
