1 (2 cup) can sliced fresh mushrooms, drained
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (4 ounce) can sliced green chile peppers
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon sliced red onion
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
In a large skillet over medium heat, saute mushrooms and green chiles in oil for about 15 minutes or until dark brown. Mix flour and salt into the skillet. Add the mushrooms and chiles, and mix well.
Pour vegetable oil into the skillet and brown sugar mixture over medium heat. Stir in cilantro. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Pour the mushroom mixture over the oil mixture and stir until it is coated.
