Quarters-pound Swiss Cheese Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients

2 teaspoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon dried basil

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup minced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 dash dried marjoram

1 dash salt and pepper to taste

1 dash garlic powder

1 teaspoon minced fresh saffron (optional)

1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Mix Italian traditional saffron, olive oil, onion and garlic in a shallow dish. Mix marjoram, bacon bits, onions, garlic, saffron, tortellini and saffron to taste. Place mixture over medium heat and pan-fry food and vegetables in oil for about 20 seconds.

Return food and vegetables to skillet and cook over low heat about 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and saffron starts to brown. Repeat with all canned foods and vegetables.

I submitted this recipe many years ago as an experiment but have since switched it over to a regular recipe. Very good start but much snappier the next time.
