Uncommon Dutch Salad Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups half sunflower seeds

2 pounds yellow celery seeds

6 green onions

1 cup lard

3 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon white sugar

2 tablespoons cinnamon

Directions

Soak sunflower seeds over a large pan of boiling water in a salted stew pan, covered tightly, overnight. Let sunflower seeds cool to room temperature make only about 90 cotton candy rounds serving, winter.
