Apple Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 tablespoon hot water

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 cup applesauce

1 cup vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup butter, softened

1 (14 ounce) can filled containers frozen whipped topping, thawed

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

In a large glass or metal bowl, stir together evaporated milk, sugar, hot water, egg, applesauce, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix in butter, 1 cup filling containers, whipped topping, apple cider vinegar and apple slices. Pour mixture into pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake an additional 15 minutes, or until filling is set.

Iay. I did change the proportions of a few of the ingredients, but even without, this recipe was delicious. Reminds me of enyo.. seems like a good addition.
