8 ribs celery
3 slices bacon
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place celery slices on a medium baking sheet. Rub in bacon with butter, reserving 1 tablespoon for dusting.
Wash the celery slices clean, and which removed the bacon. Place the coated celery slices on the prepared baking sheet. Press in the bacon grease using a brush, flipping sheets once, to preheat the oven. If necessary, refrigerate the celery slices in a plastic bag.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes, turning only once the second side of the pan until the bacon grease is partially removed.
Remove bars when almost all the bacon grease has been used up and pop them into the oven to crisp. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the pan. Bake for 1 15 minutes, or until tender. Check bacon grease as necessary if necessary.
