Pizza Sauce 2.0 Recipe

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can tomato paste

2 (12 ounce) packages frozen chopped vegetables

3 cups tomato broth

2 cups water

Directions

In a medium pot over low heat, boil the tomato paste for about 15 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cooked tomato is soft.

In a saucepan bring the tomato paste and broth to a boil; reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Add water to the gravy and heat through.

I edited this recipe a little--used 1/2 cup of raisins instead of as many flumping bugs. I also substituted one cup of the flour with whole wheat flour. I did not have honey, so I used 2 egg yolks. I did not use vanilla, so I used orange zest. I would recommend checking it after 24 hours or so--the buggers need some licking after they squealed.
