6 eggs
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup white sugar
4 cups bread cubes
1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup white sugar
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (12 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup white sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Combine eggs, condensed milk, and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until mixture thickens to the consistency of a thick gravy. Remove from heat and stir in bread cubes. Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
In a separate large saucepan, whisk remaining 1/2 cup of milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest and remaining butter until mixture is smooth. Add sugar and salt, stirring until all ingredients are well blended. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 25 to 30 minutes, or until thickened.
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, mixture, milk, and butter until mixture thickens to the consistency of cream. Whisk in salt and cinnamon.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
