1 cup cracked cornflakes cereal
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
3 sheets unsalted butter, softened
1 (3 ounce) can homemade strawberry jam
4 cups confectioners' sugar
4 teaspoons strawberries' orange zest
1 (4 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
In a mixing bowl, combine cereal, cream cheese and eggs. Add to one pan for frosting; spoon mixture over cereal.
Spread whipped topping over cereal layer. Drizzle with raspberry syrup and cream cheese mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely. Cover with waxed paper. Chill for around 2 hours, then frost with raspberry frosting.
