Baked Cornbread II Recipe

Ingredients

2 (10 ounce) packages dried brown cornmeal

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

8 slices Brie cheese, diced

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, beat the cornmeal and oil until well blended. Mix in the cheese, milk, eggs, vanilla, baking powder and baking soda. Mix in the baking soda, salt, pepper, baking powder and baking soda. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared dish.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until thawed. Cool before serving.
