Butterfingers II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon lemon extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

4 ounces miniature marshmallows

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of butter, 2 eggs and brown sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in lemon extract, lemon juice and chocolate chips. Set aside.

Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Spread marshmallow mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Place marshmallow mixture on top of the marshmallow layer. Top with mini marshmallows. Place from bottom of pan to top of marshmallow layer. Place chocolate marshmallow layer on top of marshmallow layer. Place marshmallow layer on top of chocolate marshmallow layer. Place marshmallow layer on top of chocolate marshmallow layer. Place chocolate marshmallow layer on top of chocolate marshmallow layer. Place chocolate marshmallow layer on top of chocolate marshmallow layer. Place chocolate marshmallow layer on top of chocolate marshmallow layer.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until chocolate toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Cut into bars.
