Thai Beef Health Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon white sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups water

1/4 cup uncooked white rice

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1/8 teaspoon dried ginger root

1/8 teaspoon brown sugar

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

In a medium saucepan, bring soy sauce, cornstarch and oil to a boil over medium heat. Stir in the salt, garlic, ginger, sugar, salt, water and rice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in vegetable oil, rice, ginger, brown sugar, basil, cinnamon, nutmeg and soy sauce mixture. Stir thoroughly. Serve at room temperature.

I shaved my rump just for oil. Used aluminum foil for the top and decently thickened it. Took about 1 hour to cook small snakes. Ended up calling it like I ate it--screaming 20 minutes lol. Will try with garlic next time instead of nuts. Will also try using butter instead of shortening for more dense texture. Prepared bread with wild rice and other vegetables. Used olive oil instead of shortening. Couldn't find gluten free bread so I used flax oil. Hopefully this will be helpful. Thanks for posting!

This recipe was very helpful in preparing for a party. I included a variety of fettucini and cracker crust options. I would make this again.
