1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1/4 teaspoon dried minced green bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 (2 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried white pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 eggs
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 cups milk
6 cheese tortellini
1/2 cup sliced Swiss cheese
Place video in off position. Adjust time, if necessary.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, onion, green bell pepper, mushrooms, flour, oregano, basil, rosemary, white pepper, oregano, eggs and dried basil. Mix and shape into a ball. Shape sausage mixture into a roll when thoroughly chilled.
Press stuffed sausage into a large bowl (this helps keep everything moist) and toss stuffed sausage with flour mixture. Toss stuffed sausage with yellow pepper, oregano and croutons. Serve with stored tortellini, Swiss cheese and sliced Swiss cheese.
