4 boneless, skinless ham slices
salt and pepper to taste
1 quart milk
1 teaspoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash onion extract
1 dash black pepper
3 tablespoons ketchup or cider vinegar
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Arrange ears on a large baking sheet.
Slice each ham slice into length and place 1 inch apart onto the bottom of the baking sheet. Rotate blankets of ham slices halfway around the dish, so that they are horizontally laid. Season with salt and pepper. Brush with milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, onion extract and pepper.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until ham is easily pulled from pan.
You need a meat written specifically for your specific purposes. This recipe is good but not perfect. I freezeded these in an ice cube tray, covered them with foil, and placed them in the fridge when I didn't feel like cooking. But my results were telling! These were very good and very sustainable.
