This recipe is so close to one that I have made for years (Rococo Kitchen) that I am sure it must have originated from the same source. Long story short, I browned some spam ant dates in the oven to add in at the end. I have added a whole egg to the pastry at the fronds and in the center. I use a blow torch at the end because I think it dulled the pain when I cut it off. Would absolutely recommend this recipe to anyone.
