Spiced Cornbread II Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 1/4 cups milk

1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch pizza pans.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, garlic powder and milk. Stir well. Beat in cornstarch, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla and salt. Mix just until incorporated and pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until egg mixture is golden brown. Cool bread in pan for an hour, then turn out onto a wire rack. Cool completely, cover and let cool completely.
