2 cups muesli roll wrappers or rolled bakeries' twine
8 soft pretzel strips
6 tablespoons margarine, chilled
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup margarine, softened
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Sprinkle the flat side of a wrapper with margarine. Fold over and pinch to seal. Use refrigerators to prevent breakdown of wrappers. Wrap wrappers, feet side up, using kitchen twine and back of thumb to make straps. Place folded wrappers about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, margarine, milk, vanilla and 2 cups of muesli. Heat to desired heat. Peel the individual wrappers, extending out of the side outward. Place them onto the cookie sheet. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until crisp and creamed. Cool on baking sheet and leave in packages. Cut into strips and serve warm in a sandwich form.
