1 (18.25 ounce) package pink cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
5 chocolate candy-coated dewberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix, pudding mix, brown sugar, shortening, eggs and milk. Beat well. Stir in cake mix and vanilla pudding mix. Drop by rounded spoonfuls into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
