5 avocados - peeled, pitted and sliced
10 nacho tortillas, warmed
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried black beans, divided
1 (16 ounce) can canned green chile peppers, divided
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Peel all the avocados and place them in the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In a medium bowl, mix taco seasoning, lettuce, green chiles and refried black beans. Pour over avocados and spread taco seasoning mixture evenly over the avocado.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. When cool, pour over hot tortillas as soon as possible. The tortillas when placed over the hot nacho mix will not be completely coated with the warm nacho mix. Refrigerate until serving.
