1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar, butter and eggs until smooth. Beat in the brown sugar mixture. Stir in the vanilla, cocoa and chocolate. Smooth mixture into the prepared pan.
Place cookie sheets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Pour approximately 2 teaspoons of batter onto the prepared pan. Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
