2 large strawberries, sliced
1 orange, sliced
6 fluid ounces cream soda
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 teaspoon grenadine syrup
In a medium bowl, mix strawberries, orange slices, cream soda, apple cider vinegar and orange juice. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour, or until fruit is soft.
In a small bowl, sprinkle white sugar over fruit. Thinly slice fruit into 1/3 inch slices. Sprinkle vegetables with sugar. Dip fruit slices in fruit sugar, then pepper with grenadine. Wrap fruit tightly in plastic wrap. Keep covered at room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow maraschino cherries to ripen.
