1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, crushed
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups water
3 cups milk chocolate liqueur
Melt chocolate and butter in microwave oven or in small saucepan, stirring occasionally.
Beat eggs with 3 tablespoons sugar into butter mixture. Stir milk mixture into butter mixture with electric mixer or whisk.
In a large saucepan, combine chocolate liqueur and chocolate mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat and stir into chocolate mixture. Serve warm or cold.
