Portobello Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon lemon zest and orange zest

1 (12 ounce) can sliced portobello mushrooms, drained

1 (4 ounce) can sliced mixed fruit, drained

1 (16 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch pizza pan.

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon zests, lemon zest and orange zest. Mix thoroughly. Spread evenly into the prepared crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden. Cool, and slice into squares.

I made this quick, easy appetizer for a party and they disappeared very quickly. Several people praised it and still haven't tried the actual recipe. As for me, I'll be making this again.
