Creme de Villiers Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) pans.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and almond extract. Beat in the vanilla extract and milk. Beat in 3/4 cup flour and baking soda. Mix with an electric mixer until a rough dough is formed. Shape into a small ball. Form into a small rectangle. Roll in chopped walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto the prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from cookie sheet to cool completely. Allow to cool completely on waxed paper or parchment paper.
