2 (8 ounce) cans sliced pineapple, drained and chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 dash flavoring alcohol
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon-lime flavored extract
2 teaspoons honey
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon-lime flavoring extract
Dissolve orange zest in boiling water in 3 2 inch glass jars; cool. Heat water to boiling in small saucepan. Stir in pineapple, celery and brown sugar. Return to a boil, uncover and simmer until yeast is white. Add lemon extract, honey and brown sugar; boil for 5 minutes.
Remove mixture from heat, liquid will be low. Stir in light brown sugar and lemon-lime flavoring extract; allow to cool slightly.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
