2 1/2 quarts milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups frozen sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups lard
1 tablespoon molasses
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 3 quart casserole dish layer the peas, carrots and potatoes, and set aside. Drizzle melted butter over all. Place remaining potatoes over butter mixture. Sprinkle the shell over the peas and coat with molasses.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are easy to cut.
