1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) can vanilla ice cream
1 (3 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
In a saucepan, mix together sugar, milk, oil and flour. Bring mixture to a rolling boil in a large bowl, mixing well. Beat in the flour, baking powder and baking soda, then whip until no streaks remain. Gradually beat in the milk. Pour batter over cake while still in pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Frost with frosting as desired.
